CCC 10th Anniversary Jubilee
The 10th Anniversary of the Chinese Community Center (CCC) was celebrated with two events. On Friday, August 21st about 50 people for a fun night of karaoke, mahjong, ping-pong and bingo at the CCC followed by a special movie night at the Star-John R across from the Center.

On Saturday, August 22nd, the second day of celebrations started with a variety of open activities including mahjong, ping-pong, popcorn & cotton candy snacks. Attendees had the opportunity to look around the Center and interact with other guests. The organized program segment of the day started with an exciting lion dance performance outside at the Center's entrance, followed by lunch, a video highlighting the past 10 years of the CCC, performances by ACA's Senior Choir, martial arts demonstrations, and the presentation of door prize gift certificates from 168 Market, Starbucks, and Subway. We'd like to thank the performers: Feng Cao and Rita Cao (lion dance), Sifu Owen Matson, Jone Huie, Lawrence Farr, and Louis Dellorto (Detroit Kungfu Academy).
