Comcast Digital Connectors Program Update | |
The Comcast Digital Connectors program which started the last week of September 2012 is aiming to finish by the end of May 2013. Currently, the class consists of 19 students, most of which are high schoolers. Since the start of the program, the students have been able to complete three of the six modules and are on their way to completing the fourth.
During the first three modules, the students were educated in both digital and media literacy and were also able to get a certification from EverFi which taught them financial literacy.
Currently the students are working on Cisco which deals more with computer hardware and software. By the end of the course, the students will have a chance to test their knowledge and earn a certificate of completion from Cisco.
Overall, the main purpose of this program is to educate the students on how to utilize technology to their advantage and also show them how much influence technology has on the world.
