Summer Camp

Entering the 12th year, our summer camp continually succeeds in providing connections for local youth to embrace the Chinese culture.  From language, calligraphy, traditional painting, drama, cooking, arts and crafts, folk dance and music, our camp provides a wide range of learning opportunities for youth from kindergarten through 8th grade to appreciate the beauty of the Chinese culture and other diverse cultures.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Camp Madison Heights

7/5-7/8: Sports Week  No Longer Available
Kids of all ages can learn and enjoy the different variety of sports involved in society. Activities include indoor and outdoor sports and group activities.

7/11-7/29: Cultural Summer Camp #1
Kids of all ages are able to experience a variety of cultural activities that not only give them additional skills, but also enable them to appreciate Chinese culture. Activities include language, music, arts and crafts, dance, drama, field trips, etc. Three weeks including a closing ceremony on the last day of camp.

8-1-8/5: Community Outreach & Cultural Diversity
We take this time to give the opportunity for kids to embrace different cultures that surround them and also give them the chance to help and learn more about the community.

8/8-8/26: Cultural Summer Camp #2
Kids of all ages are able to experience a variety of cultural activities that not only give them additional skills, but also enable them to appreciate the Chinese culture. Activities include language, music, arts and crafts, dance, drama, field trips, etc. Activities are different from cultural summer camp #1. Three weeks including a closing ceremony on the last day of the camp.
