This Asian & Pacific Islander American Vote-Michigan (APIAVote-MI) event is the launch of their 2012 activities.
The scheduled keynote speaker is Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-CA), chair of the Congessional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), the first Chinese American woman elected to the United States Congress. A panel of additional distinguished guests will speak on their experiences of running and serving elected office in Michigan as Asian Americans.
