The Chinese Community Center and Detroit Service Center will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2015, in observance of Labor Day. Both Centers will reopen at their regular office hours on Tues., September 8, 2015.
Celebrating 40 Years of ACA commemorative book available for pick up
Starting March 2014 the Hot Lunch Program at the Chinese Community Center will be provided on only Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The main meal will be Chinese food with milk, beverages, fruit and bread. Go to the calendar to see this month's menu as it becomes available.
Family Fun Day Sun., Aug. 30 at 4pm

Health Screenings at Chinese Community Center 9am-12pm
Free health screenings will be conducted by the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) Wayne State University Chapter on these Saturdays in 2015: Sept. 12, Oct. 17, Nov. 21, and Dec. 5 and in 2016: Jan. 9, Feb. 6, March 5, April 9.
Mid-Autumn Festival ACA Senior Choir Performance Sat., Sept. 12 at 2pm
ACA's Senior Choir will perform at this event to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Seating is limited and you must reserve your admission ticket. Click here for additional information.
MAPAAC/APA Legislative Caucus Community Town Hall Meeting Sat., Sept. 19 at 12pm
Asian Pacific Americans (APAs) are encouraged to attend this important Town Hall Meeting to share their concerns and suggestions on issues affecting the community with State of Michigan officials and departments. ACA is sponsoring this event with the Michigan Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission (MAPAAC) and the Michigan Asian Pacific American Caucus. Click here for more details.
Comcast Digital Connectors Program (2015-2016) starts Sun., Sept. 27 (runs until May 2016)
For the fourth year ACA is partnering with Comcast to ofer this program for children ages 14-21 interested in digital technology. Class will meet Fridays 6pm-8pm and Sundays 2pm-6pm.
